Dr. Gajen Raveendran is a specialist periodontist and implantologist. He completed his specialist training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UCL), where he served as a specialty registrar, and then specialty doctor, in the periodontology unit at University College London Hospital (UCLH).
Upon completing his training, Dr. Raveendran earned a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Periodontology and then achieved Membership in Periodontics (MPerio) from both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has also presented at international conferences.
Dr Raveendran is also proficient in implant dentistry, having completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Implant Dentistry from Newcastle University, which he achieved with Merit. His journey in dentistry began at Bart’s and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he obtained his undergraduate degree.
Dr. Raveendran has previously served as a specialty doctor in periodontology at UCLH but now focuses solely on private practice. He provides comprehensive periodontal and implant care, including:
- Non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal and peri-implant(gum) diseases
- Aesthetic correction of gummy smiles
- Gum recession coverage procedures
- Implant rehabilitation for missing teeth
- Bone grafting for ridge preservation and augmentation
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Raveendran enjoys playing badminton, traveling, and is a devoted Arsenal fan
